VISVODAYA ENGINEERING COLLEGE was established in 2008 under Visvodaya Society with an intake of 300 students with the branches Electronics and Communication, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Civil Engineering and later PG courses, M.Tech in 4 specializations, MBA were started, reached to with an intake of 852 at present The total strength is 3224. This institution has a permanent affiliation with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Ananthapur. UGC has recognized with 2(f) in the year 2015. We have faculty of 126 members in all subjects together out of which 16 professors, 5 associate professors, and 105 assistant professors.

VEC, established in the year 2008, by the Visvodaya Society, is affiliated to JNTUA, Anantapuramu, and approved by AICTE, New Delhi. To date, 7 batches of students have successfully passed out and are well placed in different sectors all over India & abroad. Under the able guidance of Shri D.Vidyadhara Kumar Reddy, Chairman, and Dr. D.Prathyusha Reddi, Academic Director, the institute is continuously striving to meet the needs of the Industry through these educational institutions. Visvodaya Educational Society was founded in 1952 by celebrities like Justice P.V.Rajamannar Devi Prasad Roy Choudary, Dilip Kumar Roy, AMC.G.tampose, I.C.S (Retd), and a few others. Its Visitor is SR.Sankaram, I.A.S(Retd). Society was conceived not only as a center of education but also as an instrument of Social-Service.
