Mekapati Rajamohan Reddy Institute of Technology & Science (MERITS) was established in the Academic year 2002-2003 with a single - minded aim to provide a perfect platform to the students in the field of Engineering for their academic and overall personality development. The College is affiliated to JNTU Anantapur.

To develop the institute with high degree of academic standards and acquire the status of Deemed University in near future.
Our Mission:
To create educational facilities in this developing rural area such that more economically backward young brains get an opportunity to acquire higher qualifications. Trust is also planning to start a Centre for Vocational Courses in separate campus for training the rural youth in job oriented courses.
