Smt. B.K. Shah Medical Institute & Research Centre, Vadodara was established in 2003. The college was affiliated to Gujarat University and recognized by medical council of India. The goal of a medical college is to produce a basic doctor who can understand and try to solve the problems of community, the downtrodden and disadvantaged people who have poor access to health and medical services. All departments of the college strive hard to make the students community oriented to this needs of the society. The Medical students should also understand the judicious use of public fund in their training and should also be responsible to the society.
