The RV College of Architecture was established in the year 1992. It was initially established as a department on the campus of the RV College of Engineering. It is affiliated to the Visvesvaraya Technological University. It has been ranked at 8th position among the top architecture colleges in India by Outlook India Rankings in 2019. The college has also been ranked at 15 among Indian architecture colleges by India Today.The college offers both undergraduate as well as postgraduate courses in the field of architecture. It has an approved intake of 120 students for B.Arch whereas, for M.Arch, it is 20 students
