Maharajah’s Institute of Medical Sciences sponsored by Sri Rama Educational Trust was established in the year 2003 at Nellimarla, Vizianagaram District, Andhra Pradesh. Before starting this college, not only from Vizianagaram district but also from the surrounding districts people were not having proper medical facilities for their health problems and medical education for their children. Since, the inception of this college, that issues were taken care and the people of 2, 3 districts are feeling comfortable. This is one of the oldest private medical colleges in Uttarandhra.
Maharajah’s Institute of Medical Sciences is a hospital medical education institute spread across 50 acres of land and has one of the best faculties in town. The institute came into force under the Shri Rama Educational Trust to promote medical education and awareness about the importance of healthcare. The Institute offers undergraduate and post-graduate courses in medical sciences covering areas such as paramedical and nursing.
